After the wedding, return the kit to Phone Memories and receive the captured footage. You can keep the original guest recordings or choose our optional editing service to turn the best usable clips into a wedding highlight film.

You can receive the guest footage without editing, or add our editing service. We will review the usable recordings, select the strongest moments and assemble them into a polished wedding highlight film.
The finished result depends on the amount and quality of footage recorded by your guests. Editing improves and organises the available material but cannot recreate moments that were not recorded.

Is this a replacement for a wedding videographer?
No. It is designed to capture informal guest footage and complement professional wedding photography or videography.
Who operates the cameras?
The cameras are used by trusted friends and family chosen by you. No Phone Memories operator attends the wedding.
Can I hire the kit without an Audio Guestbook?
Yes. The standalone Wedding Vlog Kit is £299, which includes your raw, unedited footage.
How does the Audio Guestbook add-on price work?
Couples with a qualifying Phone Memories Audio Guestbook booking can add the Wedding Vlog Kit for £249, which includes your raw, unedited footage.
What footage do I receive?
Both kit prices include your raw, unedited footage: every clip your guests record, delivered digitally exactly as it was filmed. An edited highlight film is not included unless you add our optional editing service for £129.
Do I have to purchase the editing service?
No. Editing is optional. Without it, you receive your raw, unedited footage. With it, we also create an edited highlight film from the strongest usable clips.
What happens if guests record very little footage?
The final material depends on how your guests use the cameras. We provide simple guidance, but we cannot guarantee a particular quantity or quality of guest-recorded footage.
When will the kit arrive?
Your kit is sent by courier to your home address and, in line with our standard hire terms, arrives no later than 2 days before your event.
How do I return it?
We supply a prepaid return label. Pack the kit back into its case and drop it off at your nearest Royal Mail Post Office. Instructions are supplied in the box.
When will I receive my footage?
Once the kit is back with us, we prepare your footage for delivery. We will confirm the expected timescale when you book.
What happens if the equipment is lost or damaged?
As with all Phone Memories hires, you are responsible for any damage caused to the equipment by you or your guests, and repair or replacement costs are charged accordingly. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
Can children use the cameras?
The equipment should remain under responsible adult supervision at all times.
Are dates limited?
Yes. We are introducing the Wedding Vlog Kit with a limited number of kits for 2027 weddings, so availability is limited. Check your date early to avoid disappointment.
